I've gone through a ton of different thermometers and I've finally settled on Braun's Thermoscan. It takes a temperature in seconds, is simple to use and the kids barely know its there. Definitely more expensive than some thermometers at about $40, but worth it when you need to take a temp of a sad child at midnight!
