Getting out of the rain and into some playtime can be challenging in the winter months here in Oregon.  Washington Square has a nice indoor facility for the little ones' to play.  The cost is free and my son loves the interaction with other kids his age (and a bit older).  You can bring a latte, or water and just watch your little one play.  The play structure is in front of JC Penny's so it is not overly tempting to shop!
