My daughter came home from school with this creative art project where they made clouds with home made puffy paint to give it a 3D effect.  The puffy paint is made from shaving cream and glue!  It dries fast and you can use food coloring too.  Here is what the teachers told me:

Take equal parts of regular non-menthol shaving cream and Elmer's glue and mix it together until it looks a bit glossy.  It dries fast to a  "puffy" effect. When dry it also feels really soft like a cotton ball - a creative way to use household items and the kids seem to love it.
