I just saw a very cool thing in my friend's backyard-she not only has an in-ground basketball hoop, but a permanent, rubbery-ish court as well. Her basketball-crazy husband and kids play all year on their SportCourt floor. It looks nice, and is a safe floor to play on. SportCourt also makes other game courts, putting greens and indoor playing floors. Check out the website.
