Puddlestompers offers classes that assist kids in noticing and exploring the natural world. Classes are held on publicly-owned lands in Arlington, Newton, Wellesley, Sudbury and Needham, and the leaders take kids and their caregivers on nature walks to explore the environment. Leaders use stories, music and hands-on activities during class, and each class is centered on a seasonal concept or occurrence. Friends of mine have taken classes and have been impressed by the leaders’ knowledge of the topics. I think it’s a great concept.
