Puddlestompers offers classes that assist kids in noticing and exploring the natural world.Classes are held on publicly-owned lands in Arlington, Newton, Wellesley, Sudbury and Needham, and the leaders take kids and their caregivers on nature walks to explore the environment.Leaders use stories, music and hands-on activities during class, and each class is centered on a seasonal concept or occurrence.Friends of mine have taken classes and have been impressed by the leaders’ knowledge of the topics.I think it’s a great concept.
HBragdon Jul 2, 2007 Puddlestompers is great fun. I highly recommend it. My daughter enjoyed the class we took. We would wander around doing a nature activity, then do a craft, read a story related to the topic and then have a snack and sing a song. Fun!
